“Fycan! Fycan!” I looked up
from Sukura, to see Chyanne
running into the room, in tears, I put the infant down
and collected the child into my arms. From behind, Skyla was walking into the
room. Chyanne was trying to shoo Sky away with her
hands as she held to me tightly, and kept crying,
“Wien!”
Chyanne called out.
“Skyla, what did you
do?” I asked
“I just stuck this
fake bug in her room.”
“That’s not all she
did Mamma, I seen it while she didn’t know it.” I looked to see Tanni walking in, she had one of
her pups in her hands.
“Sky, was also
telling her that the bug was a dead but, and it was going to come back and get
her while she was sleeping. Anna ran for you before I had a chance to tell Sky
to stop it.”
“Is that what Sky
was telling you, Anna?” The little girl nodded.
“Skyla, why would
you do something like that?”
“I don’t know.”
“You do know!” I
said with a threating tone in my voice,
“I forget.”
“Well Sky, until you
can remember, I think you can spend the time in your room on your bed.” I
walked with the Anna in one arm, and Skyla being towed to her room with the
other stopping where Sky’s personal room was I locked it for the time being.
“Your
not going in there for a while, I want the lesson to sink in. You know better
than to scare the younger ones.”
“I
sorry Mamma!”
“I’m not the one you
should be saying that to, and even though I’m glad that you did apologize your
still staying in your room, and on your bed for a little while.” I then took
the still crying and clinging Chyanne back into the
living room.
“Ursa! What brings you back, ready for another infant
are you?”
“No but I believe
this one belongs to you.” my mouth about dropped opened when she had pulled Shanda
from out behind her.
“She was in our
dinning halls, just talking to Grubbi.” I glared at my daughter. Then looked at the one that was in my arms still.
“Anna, could you do
me a favor and sit in my chair for me a moment?” The child shook her head,
“Nyie! Nyie!”
She started crying harder again.
“Alright, I won’t
then” I told her while, turning to Shanda,
“Shanda Kiri, I want you to head to your room, we’ll talk about
this later.” The little girl nodded and ran off doing what she was told.
“Anna, calm down.” I
said patting her back.
“Thanks Ursa, I had
no clue that she did that! I know that she ran off again after an argument with
one of the others, but I didn’t know how far she went.” As we spoke, I was
wondering what eles was going to happen that day.
I soon got my
answer, no more than an hour after I had laid Chyanne
down after she had cried herself to sleep, she came charging in and climbed
into my lap.
“Hi Anna, you have a
nice nap?” She nodded. “You want to go
play now?” She nodded but took my hand to lead me to where the other two were.
“Don’t you want to
do this on your own?” Chyanne shook her head no.
“Alright, I won’t
leave,” I told her as I sat on the floor with her. Wondering what could make
her so clingy at the moment.
