I couldn’t believe what kind of day it was yesterday every time I had turned around something was happening. I was hoping that today would be a little better. I was quickly heading into the bathroom hoping to sneak a quick bath before the children all realized I wasn’t in where I could hear them real well. Turning on the light, I spotted Elliot in there. In his hand he had a homemade fishing pole, and he was standing in front of the toilet.

“Elliot please do NOT tell me what or why you are fishing in there, just put it by the back door and go play for a little bit. He nodded and did what I asked, I had to laugh at the antics things were never dull around here anymore. Not since I had adopted Skyla the fall before last. Everyone else seemed to follow behind. I don’t know who could also agree, but having children are like eating a bag of chips you can never just have one. Even though they seem to know how to hang you by your toes at times, I love having every one of them around. I couldn’t tell you when the last time I had a peaceful bath, or anything but I can tell you that I’m also lucky if I have time for one any more, anyone that would see how many children I have would think I was crazy. And maybe I am crazy enough to give someone else a home, love and the fair chance at life.

A little later, I took notice that Elliot was no where in sight. I went around looking for a little bit still trying to figure out where he was. Starting to worry cause it’s not like him to just disappear like that, I called the older ones out to watch the younger ones while I went to look for him. Just as I was out the door, Darcy pointed to the bathroom; he was lying under the water. Before he even had a chance to catch his breath I pulled him up out of that water

“WHAT IN THE WORLD DO YOU THINK YOU ARE DOING! What were you thinking!” “I wanted to see how long I can hold my breath.” He answered timidly, putting his hands behind him as I pulled him from the water.

“ELLIOT IXAVIOR! YOU KNOW YOUR NOT PERMITTED TO GET INTO THAT WATER WITHOUT SOMEONE ELSE IN HERE WITH YOU! OR TELLING ME!” As I scolded him, Elliot  looked to the floor as I pulled him to me, before I even had his towel around him I quickly turned him over my knee giving him a spanking he wouldn‘t soon forget. He rubbed his backside and sniffled as I wrapped the towel around him.

“That was for scaring me to death and getting into that bath without my knowing. I just want you to get yourself ready for bed. Elliot, if you ever do something like that again! I’ll make sure that spoon is what smacks your bare bottom instead of my hand Understood?” Elliot nodded wide eyed,

“Good NOW GET GOING!” I added an extra swat to get him moving.
