“Catch
Kennie!” I heard that as I walked into the living room, Elliot was throwing
something across the room. Kennie fell as she caught
it. I had to laugh at the sight of them playing like this. I didn’t care that
they would do something like that. I then heard Skyla and Shanda come running
in joining their brother and sister at their little game. Most
of the time these four really stuck together and played like this. I
loved watching them. Sometimes I would join in. This seemed like one of those
days where I had more energy than I knew what to do with so I grabbed the
homemade beanbag and started playing with the four cubs that were out here,
looking up I seen the triplets standing there, I motioned for them to join us.
Not sure they stood and watched as we continued. Cyanne,
Chyanne, and Melody laughed as they joined the next
round.
“Mamma, You are nuts!”
“Am I Tanjia?” She nodded and looked at me wide eyed as I walked
over to her and scooped her up and put her right in the middle of the group.
That’s when I great idea.
“I want one of you
to sit on this chair, and I need someone else to come with me, and Tanni I need two of your scarves. She nodded and took
off wondering what I had in mind. Joy had just walked in as I was getting
Elliot’s eyes covered. She just stared at us not asking anything. I then fixed
another scarf over Shanda’s as well, and the set her
at the chair.
“Now Elliot, you
have to try and feed Shanda this whipped cream with the blind fold on.”
“This should prove
to be interesting” Joy said as she sat down to watch this game. Just as she sat
down Elliot took that as the signal to go.
“Elliot! I’m not
Shanda!” Joy cried out as she started to get the stuff out of her hair. I had
to laugh at that reaction as I lead him over to where Shanda was buy the time
the game was over all the kids were covered in the white stuff. All but the
triplets, they seemed to have read each other 100%. As they all headed to get cleaned
up I cleaned up the area then sat down, that had warn me out for sure this
time. I sat and closed my eyes for a time, as they all headed back in asking
what other games I had.
“I think Mamma’s
done for right now, I’ll watch you kids play for a little bit instead.” They
nodded and did just as I asked, I laughed hearing all the different reasoning
for different things. Just then as they started getting out of hand, before I
could say anything!
“NOT FAIR!” Shanda
yelled as I heard the door slam shut and watched her run. Joy stared at me,
“Aren’t you going to
go after her?”
“Not this time, Joy
neither will you, she’ll come back when she’s cold.” I told her. Joy didn’t
seem to understand why I had said that. I didn’t answer that just pulled her
into my lap and held her close. They all loved it when I did that. They loved
when I held them and not let another have that time, if one of the others
wanted held I told them they have to wait their turn. It was whoever was in my
laps turn for that time.
