"I really think you should tell my Mamma what he's doing."

"I can handle it. I'm Barbic." Darlita sighed, as she played with a strand of hair that fell into her face.

"I just don't like to see you... or anyone for that matter, get picked on like that. If I were you I'd just sock him ...”

"You realize what Ursa would do to me if I did that!?" Buddi asked as he looked at the girl as if she was crazy.

"So what are you two love birds doing?" Both Buddi and Darlita turned startled at the sudden voice.

"Cubbi, we are not LOVEBIRDS!" Buddi said, jumping up at him and getting into his face. He pulled back, apologizing as soon as he realized what was going on.

"A little jumpy today, are we?" Cubbi asked, timidly stepping back.

"My brother's got him upset," Darcy answered for the boy. But before she could tell him what was going on, Buddi covered her mouth with his hands,

"I told you that I could handle it myself; I don't want Ursa to think that I can't handle myself when it comes to this type of situation."

"Yes, but Timmy would be stopped; Mamma would be sure of that." She told him before heading outside to see what the cubs were doing.

She sat down right by me and Ursa and watched the others being chased by Skyla's filly; she, somehow, had a water hose in her mouth and figured out how to spray the children.

I noticed that my teen was less active than normal, not that she's normally active anyways. I motioned for her to sit on my lap. She nodded and did so,

"What’s wrong Baby?"

"Nothing Mamma." I could tell that she wasn't telling me the truth.

"Darlita Rose! I know you better than that! Something’s wrong, but if you don't tell me then I can't help you." She sighed and leaned back.

"I can't tell you… right now at least."

"Alright, I'll take that, but I'm not settling with it. You have until tomorrow night to tell me what’s going on." She nodded, then slid off my lap and headed inside. I sighed as I picked up Bliss and sat her into my lap as she crawled by. I wondered what was going to be in store for us by tomorrow night. I had a feeling I knew who was behind it though. But I couldn't be sure until I was told.  My thoughts headed back to the child I was playing with as she was trying to get down.

"Why don't you stay up here for a little while?" She started to whine as she was struggling to get down. I let her on the ground and watched her go off with Chase.
