"Mine! It's Mine! Give it back!"

"That is hers, Kennie, give it to her."

"No, don't have to!"

"Yes you do, give that back to Skyla it's hers."

"No I don't have to!" Kenya said, determined to keep it away from her sisters.

"Kenya, if you don't give it back, I'll go wake up, Mamma." Darlita warned as she tried to get Skyla's hat away from Kenya.

"You don't have to come wake me up, I'm already up." I turned to the little girl, "Give that back to Skyla right now Kenya Elsa." Making a face, Kenya gave the blue thing to them.

"Fine!" She snapped then sat right in the middle of the floor and folded her arms for a minute and then threw herself into the floor, kicking, screaming and rolling all over before she sat back up and started holding her breath.

"Skyla, and Darlita, come with me. We're going to let her have her little fit by herself.

"You need to put that into a better place anyways Sky." She nodded and did as I asked.

"What happened?" I asked my oldest.

"Kennie came upstairs this morning and just took it from Skyla and started teasing her with it. Sky asked her over and over to please give it back and she wouldn't do it and took off with it keeping it and herself away." Darlita explained. Then she told me that she had taken care of all the babies for me while I slept. I thanked her then told her to go off and play for awhile before I headed back to check and see what Kenya was doing.

"I'm real close to giving you a spanking Kenya, now stop it." I spoke sternly, pulling her off the floor to her feet before getting myself something to eat.

"Mamma," I turned to Timmy, his hand was behind his back. But he was grinning from ear to ear.

"I have something for you," he pulled out a handful of the most beautiful flowers that I had ever seen.

"Timmy, where'd.... How'd you-"

"I found them on the other side of the rocks in my little secret place." I nodded.

"Thank you so much," I said, kidding his cheek before taking them and placing them into a glass that had a little water in it.

"You want something to eat Son?"

"I ate this morning, got some cold stuff."

"How about fruit? Did you eat that yet?"

"No, but I will later, I didn't want any."

"Alright, you'll have to have some at dinner then." I told him before he turned and ran back down the hill. I had to laugh; these kids are certainly their own characters. Not one day was ever dull something; was always happening.

I looked down as I felt a tug on my pant leg; Bliss was pulling herself up. I grinned as I reached down and picked her up kissing her cheek as I pulled her to me, grinning back; she tried sharing her pacifier with me. I had almost forgotten that she was teething again. She doesn't fuss like she use to.  I took it thanked her, pretended to use it then handed it back. She repeated it several times, getting a kick out of it. I played with her for another good fifteen minutes before she decided she wanted down. That’s when I turned and saw through the window Skyla starting to climb into the bull's pin.

"Stay here, with the babies,” I told Kenya as I ran outside.

"Skylay Videl! What are you doing?!  Get out of that pin! You know better than that!" I yelled, as I grabbed her just as she swung her leg around the fence.

"You know that he'll kill you if you get in there!" I scolded. "I've told you that over a thousand times, not to go in there, in fact you kids aren't even permitted anywhere near him!" I scolded again, before taking her arm and dragging her into the barn.

"Mamma, please don't," She cried out as we headed inside.

A bit later, I held Skyla to me.

"I'm sorry Sunshine, but I couldn't bear it if something happened to any of you kids, and that bull is very dangerous." I told her gently as she let a sniffle out.

"I never want to punish you like I just did again. But it will if you EVER go near him again. Understand?" Skyla nodded.

"Good. I want you to go inside and go to bed for a little while." I told her, standing up myself.

"But Mamma" Skyla whined.

"Skyla Videl, you just got yourself in a lot of trouble, please don't argue with me." Not giving her another chance, I grabbed hold of her and towed her inside.

"Now get upstairs!" I spoke firmly, adding a sharp swat to her already sore backside to get her moving. She looked at me then headed up the ladder. I walked into my own room where the twins were. Scarlet's eyes met mine as I headed over to my bed. I stopped and picked her up.

"Hey pretty girl." I held her so she and I could look at each other better. That’s when I got an idea. I thought it would be a good time to start. I took her into the kitchen set her into her little seat that I had put onto the table.

I fixed her a little bit of a warm applesauce that I had made sure was extra fine. She seemed to be a little shocked at it.

"You like that, Scarlet?" She smiled at me as I started to give her more. Every time I would give her more, that baby would kick her legs as hard as she could. That was my sure sign that she liked it. I noted that Bliss had come into the room as well. She had pulled herself up using my lap again.

"Would you like some of this too, Bliss" I picked her up put her into her seat and got Bliss her own jar. It was made more for her age then started feeding her as well. That’s when I heard Rei's cry. I started to get up; I called to Kenya who was still indoors, and told her to come sit with these two while I went to get the baby, knowing if I didn't Scarlet would start as well. The twins did that anytime the other was left crying too long.

I was amazed with myself I had managed to feed three babies at the same time pretty much. I didn't know that I could do that. Looking out, I noted it was getting late and that the other children would be starting in soon, so I started to get dinner ready. I called to Skyla who was still upstairs, as she was coming in Timmy, and Shanda had come in. Everything was sitting on the table when I noted that Darlita hadn't come back yet.

"Where's Darcy?" I asked. Shanda surprised me with a squeal and pointed in the direction of the lake. Something was wrong; Darcy was never late for anything. “Go ahead and eat, stay inside if any of you go outside while I'm gone, you will be in more trouble then you can imagine." I warned as I headed out.

"Darlita Rose, why in the world didn't you come home yet?" I asked sternly; looking into her face, I regretted it.

"Mamma," I could have kicked myself when she told me what was going on. I knew it was coming, but thought I had time before hand. I forgot she was old enough for that to happen.

"Come with me, we'll talk about it more tonight after the others go to bed." I told her after talking to her a bit about it.

"I'll answer anything you want to know." She nodded then took my hand as we walked home.
