Heading in the door with Tanni, we were greeted by everyone,  they were looking to see how their sister was doing,

“She’s fine, everyone, but she needs to sleep right now, I don’t want you doing anything that will disturb her,” I told them taking the cub to her room and laying her in her bed, and helping Midget onto her bed beside her. The pup immediately curled up beside Tanni and laid down. I smiled. And left the room picking up Joy on the way out of that hall. Seeing her tears I took her into my room and started rocking with her, talking to her about how things sometimes happen and that I know that Tanni forgives her,

“She told me herself.” I told Joy. The cub couldn’t  do anything but cry. So I let her, and just held her. Hearing Skyla call out that Tanni was awake, I nodded and pulled the cub into my arms and carried her to her sisters room and took her in with me. Joy hide behind me once I put her down.

“Why are you scared of me Joyjoy?” Tanni asked sounding a bit hurt herself. “I’m not upset with you. How could I be when I know it wasn’t on purpose.” Tanni said as she motioned for her sister to come to her. Slowly Joy walked over and the two started to talk and smile again. Seeing this I knew that they were going to be alright, that things with them had been patched up. I had walked out of the room letting them have the time they needed and walked into the nursery to play with the babies for a bit.

Hearing Sukura I turned to her and was going to pick her up, but I didn’t have a chance, the cub the same one that had not even lifted her head, and was six months old stood on her feet and ran to me. I about fell over in tears of delight.

“I can’t believe this Sukura!” I picked her up and started hugging and kissing her like mad, I still couldn’t believe it, the cub just got up and started moving about.

“What a big girl you are!” I told her as happy as I could get. I realized then I had the best cubs in the world and I didn’t have to try as I had been. I must have been doing something right.
