“Mamma! Shanda took off again,” I sighed hearing
Darlita telling me this. “What was the reason this time?”
“She was trying to
take something that didn’t belong to her again.” She told me.
“Darcy, just leave
her out there.”
“Say what?”
“Just leave her out
there, she’ll find out that she’s not getting a reaction from this and sooner
or later she’ll stop.” I told her. Then headed to clean Shanda’s room the idea
had just accured.
“What in the world
are you doing Mamma, those are MY things!” I turned seeing Shanda behind me, I
simply looked at her and said I was cleaning her room. And asked her why she
had her siblings toys in her closet.
“I wanted them.”
“Do you not have
your own Shanda Kiri?”
“Yes but I wanted
those ones.”
“Shanda you know you
can just take what you want,!” I scolded, “Not only
that you know better than to run off when you don’t get your way.”
“They were being mean! They wouldn’t let me have a turn.”
“Were they finished with
it?”
“NO But I wanted it”
“Shanda what else
could you have done?” I asked her
looking sternly at her.
“I don’t know”
“You DO know Young
Bearess.” I told her sternly. “Now I want you to sit in this room for awhile.”
“But
why?”
“Your
grounded for taking what doesn’t belong to you as well as running off again.” I
told her then headed out into the kitchen.
As I headed that way I heard a scream,
“MAMMA
HELP!”
“What’s the matter Jo,….. Oh crap!” I said sharply, and started to grab towels
and press them against Tanni’s side.
“I’m sorry Mamma, I
didn’t mean to,” Joy cried, I just turned around, I
didn’t know she was behind me.” Joy said in tears.
“I know Baby, I
know, but for right know we need to get her to Ursaila
so we can get her help, you help me by getting me a couple blankets, and open
doors for me.”
“I can do that part
Mamma!” Melody said real quick as well as Chyanne, I nodded not having time to
argue, Picking the cub up the best I could with out
moving her too much.
“GRUBBI! Help me!” I shouted walking into the city as
fast as I could, with the other three cubs behind me.
“What the heck
happened?” I told him he nodded and took the cub into the room, telling me that
I had to wait outside. Sitting down I head Joy speak.
“I’m sorry Mamma, I
didn’t mean for that to happen it was just and accident.
“I know Joy, that’s
why I’m not angry, I’m not to happy with you at the moment cause you know your not
suppose to have knives yet anyways.” I pulled her into my lap and held her
tight.
“accidents
happen little one and I know that, and I forgive you. And I’m sure Tanni does
too, Baby , I don’t think she holds it against you. “ I told her starting to rock her in the still chairs.
“Ursa hi,”
“I heard what
happened, is there any news from Grubbi yet?”
“No, but I think
she’ll be alright.” I told her but the fear in my eyes said it different. Ursa
nodded, understanding.
