Gently I got up and
walked over to where Ursa had laid my cubs at some time thought the night, and
picked up the fussing little boy again. And sat in the
rocking chair provided. He stared into my eyes and beamed at the sights,
<you enjoying this little Jaysa?>
I asked him he nodded and grinned. We watched as Grubbi walked in, to give all
of us our breakfast. As the two of us stayed at the rocking chair, Jaysa proceeded to try and feed me some of his food. I let him give it to me and laughed then told
him I had my own, and pointed to it. He then opened his own mouth asking for
mine, I nodded
<alright I can do that.> I told him. Jaysa
grinned and started to eat the food that was given to him, proving to be a good
eater.
Grubbi took him to get
the cub as well as his sister. I smiled at the fact that Ursa was busy with
Buddi. I had a chance to just have the time to myself.
“Mamma, I’m sorry
that I’m bothering you,”
“Joy! What are you
doing here?”
“Peace needs you so
I brought her to you.” She told me, the younger girl poked her head out to me
grinning a little bit, but with tears in her eyes.
“Peace, come to
Mamma.” I told her getting out of bed, and holding my arms to her. She
climbed into my arms as I sat in the rocking chair.
“Joy you come sit too.” I called over to my other daughter. She nodded and
walked over doing as asked. Slowly I let the chair and my talking to them do it’s magic. Not caring what was going on, or who was coming
in and out of sickbay. I noted a bit later that Ursa and Buddi had come back
in. I told her what was going on. And let my rocking take over for a bit more
before asking if that was better. Joy nodded and kissed my cheek, I smiled back
at her and kissed her and Peace telling them that I loved them and I would be
home soon, and I didn’t want them out after dark, and asked them to make sure
that they had and adult with them the next time and asked Ursa if one of her
warriors could take them home.
