“Jonni,
what’s the matter baby?” I asked the infant cub picking him up and trying to
get him to eat he turned away. “Your not wanting to
eat? Then what’s the problem?” I asked starting to walk with the cub and
patting his back. I continued talking and walking with the cub. Nothing seemed
to help him at all. I even tried singing to him. That’s when I noted that he
was pulling his legs into his belly.
“Oh Jonathan I’m
sorry I didn’t know that was your problem.” I said trying to sooth, and started
rubbing his belly. That seemed to sooth a bit. More like a lot, the infant cub
settled down for a nice sleep for a bit. I managed to lay myself back down but
kept my infant with me at the same time.
Heading out of the
room a bit later I finished the eating and started to get the children out the
door for my lessons with Grubbi.
Hearing the knocking
at the door, I let Grubbi in and told him that most of the children were out
playing only the ones that were sleeping and were too little to go with the others
yet. He nodded and took a seat with me beside him. The told him I was ready for
learning what I had to learn. Once we were finished with that he told me that I
still needed to get those vaccines yet, I nodded and said I could go with him
as soon as Darcy and the other ones got back. He nodded and looked at me a
little closer,
“Are you feeling
alright?” I nodded “I’m fine,” I said falling to the floor.
“No your not, you’ve
got Barbic fever” He told me as I tried to stand, he set me on the floor again
and headed to my communicator and contacted Ulisa and told her what was going
on and told her that someone needed to watch the children or keep and ear out
for them. Had agreed to be there real shortly.
