In 1994,when I myself was only 8 years old,the 4th season of the NBC drama series-Sisters began. An unknown actor named George Clooney joined the cast as Detective James Falconer-the hot investigator of Teddy's(Sela Ward) daughter Cat's rape. Through the episodes,a romance appeared between Teddy and Falconer-this was the love of their lives.Ok,now.....I know I sound so Melodramatic,but these great two actors portrayed a uniqe,exciting, wonderful relationship.
At the middle of the 4th season,Falconer had left Teddy and went back to his wife-from which he had a child that died a few years before.Teddy was heartbroken......so was I. but to Teddy's and the viewers' surprise he came back on his knees, asking for her forgiveness,blah,blah,blah.....Eventually she forgave him and accepted his marriage proposal.
But......Oh my, the crisis of my childhood(kidding)- Falconer got murdered only few months after the wedding by a drug dealer........Teddy was in shock and got blind....I cried.....and Falconer-in the body of the megababe George Clooney was out of Teddy's life(not before he came back as her angel and made her see again)-and into Julianna/Carol's life in the succesful med series ER.(For this show,he left sisters).***Now, let's not forget that our George later, in 1998, left ER also and embarked a movie career. Now he is one of the most successful actors in Hollywood-and still my own all-time fave character of his is Falconer!!!)***
Eventually,like all amreican series Teddy found love in the form of the Yucky- doesn't worth Falconer's place-Dr Sorenson and the show ended at the end of season 6.
Well...I'm not saying "Sisters" isn't kind of a Soap Opera but it is a very good show -with interesting characters and great cast!!! In my opinion,the highlight of the show was this amazing romance between Teddy and Falconer(my love,I wish I could find a person with Falconer's personality and George's look...woops,sorry,my hormones are taking over(: ).What do YOU think????e-mail me
