Earthquakes, flooding, a time of unprecedented weather catastrophes, terrorism, lawlessness, disease pandemics, a time of unprecedented trouble this is how the writers of the Bible describe The Apocalypse. The author of this website, Lois Hoover, has been studying and writing about The Apocalypse for over forty years, has sent out newsletters regarding this subject for twenty years; and has been an active member on the Internet religious boards for the past twelve years debating this very same subject.
Because it is necessary that people be aware of the phenomenon of biblical prophecy and how it relates to our own life, she set out on a path of interpreting the age-end prophecies based on her own life experiences, and a revelation she received over forty years ago in Alaska.
"It is amazing how everything has fallen into place," she states. "The church is perplexed about these events and has not been able to make its way into explaining what is happening these days."
Tens of thousands of people have died, and hundreds of thousands of people have been forced to evacuate from their living quarters all over the globe because of earthquakes, tsunamis, floods, wildfires, hurricanes, tornadoes, mudslides and unprecedented weather disasters with more on the way, and the church is perplexed about these terrible catastrophes.
"What's happening? Is God mad at us?" This was a discussion sometime ago on national television, after Hurricane Katrina, between Jerry Falwell and other well-knowns, and Falwell seemed baffled about explaining the disasters.
What has happened, unfortunately, according to Lois Hoover, is that the church has misled its people for so many years about the interpretation of these age-end events, and now that the final days are actually occurring, they remain silent.
The 'final days' according to Lois' interpretation, is not the end-of-the-world but the end-of-the-ages, as has been explained in her books. Many catastrophes take place towards the end to show that God's Word is real, and that God acts in history to prove His Word. God works the divine will in all nations both to lift up and to destroy. This is brought out most forcefully by the prophet Isaiah when he prophesies concerning the Lord's chastisement of Israel, and the chastisement of the whole world during the final times because of the breaking of His laws."
"Everything has occurred just exactly the way I interpreted The Apocalypse," she said, "and all the predictions I have made in my book, The Final Unveiling, have come true." In considering all these things, and other prophecies in The Apocalypse, she said the final occurrence, which is a great earthquake, "such as was not since men were on the earth," (Rev. 16:18) that destroys many cities and much of civilization as we know it now, is still on the table awaiting fulfillment. It is germane to everything the Bible teaches, and if her calculations and revelations are correct, she states this year 2006 is very critical to the completion of the climax of the 'consummation of all things,' as seen in Rev. 21:22.
"And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it."
One might expect to see the very climax of apocalyptic thought centered in a rebuilt temple, but John startles his readers by presenting the new Jerusalem without a temple. The specialty of this temple is that it is not a physical building but a spiritual temple, the temple of Christ's body! When Jesus spoke of the temple of his body, he said, "Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up." In this statement, he was not referring to the manmade temple but to the foreshadowing of his death and resurrection; likewise in the second coming, the temple reference is spiritual.
"Then the Jews said, 'It has taken forty-six years to build this temple, and will You raise it up in three days?" But He was speaking of the temple of His body. (John 2:19-21.)
But, ironically, in taking a closer look at those words, they were clearly a foreshadowing of the eschatological temple. There is an enormous meaning in the overall building of the eschatological temple, which is explained in Lois Hoover's trilogy of books.
After all the reading and exploring of these books ~~ to the date of this worldwide website, you will have discovered that the entire time for this spiritual edifice to be built is exactly forty-six years, from 1960 to 2006.

Also, ironically, as I was preparing to upload this to my website, there was a breaking news headline on my Internet homepage that corresponded perfectly with the very words recorded above, germane to the final occurrence. Indeed! Another foreshadowing! http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/13457472/
