THE BRIDE'S LETTERS TO THE CHURCHES

This book is a collection of twenty-two letters which were sent to many prominent church leaders and other interested people over a course of five years. As the new world emerges, the author directs attention toward the fate of the Christian church. "The Christian church that is unwilling to rethink or reformulate its basic understanding of eschatology will increasingly not have much to say to a world that is being re-created before our very eyes!"

The church, for nearly two thousand years, has assumed the role of the bride preparing for the arrival of the Bridegroom. Here, in these letters to the churches, the author assumes the role of the bride, views the entire eschatological scheme "through the eyes of a female," and speaks out against male chauvinistic interpretation of the Apocalypse! The issue, according to the author, is this: If the church as the bride is really in a "partnership relationship" with the Bridegroom, is it preparing for the future awakening that is coming in the New Age, the Age of the Spirit? (Quoted from the back-cover of "The Bride's Letters To The Churches", ©1992 by Lois Hoover.)

The Book of Revelation is the accumulative knowledge of all that the prophets and apostles wrote. It is written in a highly pictorial language which can only be interpreted by him or her who has the knowledge and wisdom to understand.

The essential claim of the author of this website is that all of the end-time apocalyptic prophecies of the Bible have been fulfilled except the final one, which is the great earthquake of Rev. 16:18.

In the midst of the chaos in her life, she wrote her books which explain the entire Second Coming of Christ. Here is an excerpt from Chapter Four of "The Bride's Letters To The Churches."

Letter Four
THE MYSTIC WOMAN
April 1986

Natural disasters, social upheavals, diseases, military and domestic conflicts are all interwoven into the prophecies of The Apocalypse. More fascinating, all these events are irrevocably intertwined with the central oracle, the central theme, as portrayed by John in Revelation, Chapter 12.

Thus, the Apocalypse is a two-level drama, to wit:

(1) The world drama as depicted in the seal/trumpet/bowl judgments.
(2) The mystic center, the great wonder in heaven.

Bible scholars and commentators alike have agreed that "the mystic woman clothed with the sun" is the key to the unfolding of the entire apocalyptic event.

The seal, trumpet, and bowl (or vial) judgments are repeatedly emphasized throughout the Book of Revelation, but they are all peripheral to the main event as revealed in Chapter 12.

"AND THERE appeared a great wonder in heaven, a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars: "And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered." (Rev. 12:1-2.)

Mystically, the woman travailing in birth is identified with Eve who exemplifies new life, or new birth, through motherhood. Her combined solar and lunar symbolism indicates celestial power and wisdom. Her tiara of 12 stars represents her spiritual life. In the number twelve, we see the complete expression of the Old and New Testament in the 12 tribes of Israel and the 12 disciples of Jesus. Astronomically, the 12 stars stand for and express the entire scheme of manifested creation.

"The sun and moon, the earth and all the stars of heaven, with the rulers thereof, each has its appointed place and definite work to do in bringing into physical manifestation and completion the Grand Plan that through it may bring forth and perfect Man/Woman in the image of God. For "He telleth the number of the stars; he calleth them by their names. Great is our Lord, and of great power: his understanding is infinite." Psalms 147:4. (H. Curtiss, "The Key of Destiny.")

Thus, all things of The Apocalypse are summed up in the mystic woman, the new Eve.

We shall endeavor to show in this newsletter, for exoteric purposes, how only through this woman can God's scale of justice be balanced.

Just as Christ returned as the second Adam to accomplish the Great Task of redeeming man for his disobedience, so also Eve must in turn return to perfect that which was forbidden in the Garden of Eden. Then, and only then, will the perfect balance of man and woman and their joint creations be brought to a fruition. This woman is one of the great secrets of The Apocalypse, and her work to become a conscious executor of "her Father's business" is not an easy one. But it is a just one. And it is one she must accomplish. For she is the Avatar of the New Age.

A Symposium of Advanced Wisdom

The Great Clock of the Ages:

It has been said major changes in the world take place every 1,000 years. It is astonishing how all the operations and events of nature and history can be combined into one synthesis — a millennium. The Great Clock of the Ages moves along slowly and the changes come about gradually.

Esoteric wisdom teaches that the vernal equinox moves through a complete zodiacal sign approximately every 2,000 years. Astrologically, the zodiacal path began with the Taurian Age, traversed into Aries and moved into Pisces where it has been for nearly 2,000 years and is about to enter Aquarius. Thus we call the approaching age the Age of Aquarius.

"In each of these great Ages the solar system enters new fields in space and encounters new conditions and new streams of force. Therefore each Age brings to the planets a new spiritual and mental as well as physical, dispensation. Hence the long predicted and almost universal belief among all peoples of a new manifestation of divinity at the beginning of this new Aquarian Age."

Astrologically, this indicates major historical epochs every 2,000 years and here even non-astrological historians support the case. The Babylonian civilization was born about 2,000 B.C. and biblically, the foundation of faith occurred at the same time era with the call of Abraham. Two thousand years later Western Christendom was born with the birth of Christ. In each case, the spring point was entering a new sign of the zodiac.

Today we are reaching a time when this great Clock of the Heavens is pointing to a most important era: — The new millennium, the new epoch, 2000 A.D. which is now in the process of being born.

We are living through the death rattles of an old order and the birth pangs of a new one.

As one writer stated, "The New Age is only a few years ahead of us, but it takes time to discard the debris and accumulated stupidities of men over the years."

Esoteric Message:

"Time is but a succession of numbers."

Questions and Answers:

Question: Please explain more fully your chart of progression that you printed in your first newsletter. How do we know that what you tell us is true?

Answer: A most casual glance over the chart will reveal God's Grand Plan to be an unfoldment of signs and numbers. We must always remember that God speaks to us in signs and wonders.

"Oh, how great are his signs! How mighty his wonders!" (Dan. 4:3)
"He worketh signs in heaven and earth." (Dan. 6:27.)
"Then shall appear the sign of the son of man in heaven." (Matt. 24:30.) (and many other Scripture passages.)

Hence to gather the full significance of eschatology, we must look to mysticism and symbolism to find meanings. In the Bible, especially the Book of Revelation, we find ourselves confronted continually with mystical numbers and signs, notably the number seven, which symbolizes divine perfection and completion.

"The number 7, says the Kabbalah, is the great number of the Divine Mysteries."

"This is a most sacred number, for number 7, because it is both male and female, mundane and divine, (4 being the mundane number, and 3 the divine number) contains within it the symbol of the greatest test of humanity, the perfect blending of the mystic forces of the male and female into spiritual creative powers." (From the writings of H. Curtiss.)

Our Chart of Progress (Page 7) reveals the mystical 4 and 3 pattern. Most remarkably, all the sevens of the Apocalypse (the seven letters to the seven churches, the seven seals, seven trumpets, and seven vials) revolve around the 4 and 3 pattern. Even more remarkable, the end parallels the beginning. That is, the Book of Revelation can be traced back to the Book of Genesis.

Seldom alluded to is the fact that the Grand Scheme cannot be completed without the return of Eve. Indeed, just as Jesus (as the second Adam) was rejected by many who felt that he did not fit into the classical expectations of a messiah, so also the second Eve goes unrecognized and rejected by many who are thinking of a second coming as a repetition of the first.

While man prepares for war, woman seeks to create order out of chaos.
