Beta Work:
I will do beta work for people.
Preferred: Any genres is possible, but I tend to write angst, suicidal but not death fics, some fluff and sap, lemons are easier for me to edit than to write. I don't mind original characters, but please do give me a character description for that. It's hard to beta original characters without knowing the character some.
Restrictions: Yuri is on the basis of the writing. Being bi, of course, I have no problem with the concept, but some people write it in a way that I can't read it. I will try, but please don't be discouraged if I say I can't. It's an area that I am very touchy on. Please use some sense when writing lemons for yaoi as well. I know there are various items that can be used for lub, but I need some grounds in reality. That and not dry! That one bothers me because that hurts like hell. I don't tend to do well with death fics. The characters can be dead, but I don't tend to do well with them. Just not my taste.
Time Constraints: I would hope to get the fic back in under a week. However, if it's going to take very long, I will contact you and let you know. That way, at least you'll know.
Comments: I tend to insert my choices in next to the original material. It is usually marked off like so [ add: "..." ] or [ change "..." to "..." ] or [ commentary ]. If the program allows it, I also tend to change the font color and/or make the font bold. I started into college as an English major, so I do grammar, spelling, tenses, and such along with focusing on settings, characterization, and plot. I've been writing stories since I was 13 so I have practice. But even I use a beta to help catch my mistakes and double check myself. Extra eyes are always helpful.Series: Gundam Wing
