My Version of a Sonnet of Love

You found me with chains around my heart, cold.
I was torn apart, lost, without a friend.
You came dashing in; couragious and bold.
Here you are now, until the very end.
I will stay true to you until I die.
I was afraid of opening to you.
But now I will open to you and fly.
I pray that you will always help me through.
You took the chains from my heart, set me free,
Made me safe and sound in your arms and heart.
I am so glad I found you here with me.
I pray that we will never, ever part.
I pray that things will always stay this way.
Together here for always, we will lay.
