| An exchange of gifts preceded by the Prime Minister�s dinner in
honour of the visiting Vice President, His Excellency Mr. Spiro T.
Agnew and Mrs. Agnew (1.8.1970). Prime Minister Tunku Abdul Rahman gave Mr. Agnew a special silver tea set while Puan Sharifah Rodziah presented Mrs. Agnew a set of specially made-in-Kelantan table runners. In return, Mr. Agnew gave Tunku Abdul Rahman a silver cordial set while Mrs. Agnew gave Puan Sharifah Rodziah a pair of silver bud vase. Picture shows the Tunku presenting the silver tea set and a book written by himself � �May 13 � Before and After� to Mr. Agnew. The presentation was made at the Residency. |
