I think we all owe to ourselves to put up our opinion of the dub? ...4Kids changing everything about Manta being smart to... him liking ghost stories. Not ONCE did they mention him being a study-holic. I think I liked the fandub Australina/British Cockney accented Manta MUCH better. ^_^ In any case, I kept wanting to say everything that Manta was -actually- saying, you know? And I'd scream when they changed the plot. It's so ODD how they changed everything about it so freakin MUCH, but they still managed to keep the basic storyline going.
I did scream HYOI GATTAI when Yoh did his whole "Unityyyyy" thingy.
Ah.. I didn't think of Rio as the TacoBellDog, though I could SEE where he could possibly come with that. I first thought Ren. From Ren and Stimpy. I sort of can understand why they chose that voice though. Because he rolls his R's just like the Japanese Ryu, you know?
It kind of irks me on how they just ADDED things. Ryu's gang wasn't the Dead Enders, was it? I can't really remember. And I don't think Manta really mentioned anything about wanting to be a doctor. I hated how they left out the whole "You're my first human friend." Thing too. Because that's what I think separates Yoh from Hao in so many ways. I did, however, snort when Yoh was getting ahead of himself and went: "And then we can talk and maybe get to know each other a little more." so the Mantou in me went: YAYYY! And putting a freaking CLOCK in the sky.
Oh, what else? Lyserg and Chocolove weren't in the theme song. But that's understandable.
Mortimer still makes me cringe. They're turning the wonderfully seizureful yet still adorable Manta into a... well, words can't completely describe it. u.u;
I DID however fall in LOVE with the themesong. I can't wait until they give us a crapped up soundtrack like with Pokemon and Yugioh. ^_^

Yeah... u.u; And after I wrote it down, I had it memorized two minutes later. I am SUCH a freaking dork. I can't wait for Horohoro and Ren to arrive though. ^____^ Still impressed with Yoh's voice. But when he integrated with Amidamaru, I had sudden eerie flashbacks of a Yami-thing going on. u.u; I can see why they were publicizing how this was dubbed by the people who brought you YuGiOh. u.u;
