| The United Methodist Women (UMW) meet on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 1:30 pm in the church parlor. Women of all ages are welcome. |
|
| Activities and events supported by the UMW: |
Provide Bibles for wedding gifts and newborns of the church members. Participate in the Community Christian Women's Banquet. Provide one to two meals a year for the Wesley House in Alva. Organize a Methodist Women's Sunday service. Attend 'Day-A-Part' Attend district and special meetings. Provide a gift on Father's Day. Support missions for Children's Homes, Cookson Hills, Skyline Ministry. Remember those ill and/or in the hospital with flowers or a gift. Give a memorial gift upon the death of church members or a close relative. Host funeral dinners. |
