This page contains all the main characters from InuYasha. Then again, 'bad guys' differ on this show like many others. Naraku and Sesshormaru being exceptions...Only cause we love 'em. Anyways, here they are, enjoy.
InuYasha

Abilities: Windscar-Using the Tetsusaiga, Iron Reaver Soul Stealer Although seeming quite arrogant, and remaining so most of the time, Inuyasha can have a soft side. After spending 50 years being pinned to a tree with an arrow, Inuyasha awakened to find Kagome, a reincarnation of Kikyou, his former love. Being a hanyou, he isn't much loved in the youkai world, or the human one. After Kagome manages to shatter the Shikon Jewel, Inuyasha ends up helping her collect them once more. His goal to become a full fledged Demon. He manages some kindness among all the insults and sarcastic remarks. But remains a very much loved character.
Kagome
Age: 15

Employment: Collects and protects Shikon Jewel Shards.
Weapon of choice: Bow and Arrow
Abilities: Random powers that occur during different episodes An average teenager who spends her time flirting with boys and learning about legends from her Grandfather...Not for long. After shattering the Shikon Jewel she and Inuyasha are forced to work together and re-collect the Jewel. Occasionally visiting her own era after random events, and at different times. Slowly, she begins to feel for Inuyasha, her liking for him grows, but she knows she cant interrupt the love Inuyasha still holds for Kikyou, now that she has returned. Kagome has the power to see the Shikon Jewel shards among the demons bodies.
Miroku

Weapon of choice: Wind Tunnel{although not his choice}
Abilities: Wind Tunnel Miroku comes into the story about 1/3 of the way in. He is a monk that has decided to join the little group of Shikon Jewel collectors. Miroku carries the curse of the wind tunnel. Something Naraku cursed his grandfather with and has been passed down through generations. Although useful in battle, the Wind Tunnel will eventually devour Miroku as well. As long as Naraku lives, it will continue to slowly suck him Miroku in with his enemies. He also claims that this curse makes his want for women an even higher rate. He seems to have a liking for Sango.
Sango

Employment: Demon Slayer
Weapon of choice: Boomerang{or so like, I forget the appropriate name}
Abilities: Using her Boomerang Samgo is a young demon slayer. It runs in her family. Although after a bit, all her family members, and all in her village, are destroyed. All by Naraku's doing. She also joins the group to get revenge for what Naraku did to her family.
Shippou

Birthplace: Japan
Employment: None
Weapon of choice: None
Abilities: Turns into a pink bubble Shippou first met up with Inuyasha and Kagome while searchinf for Jewel Shards. He wanted the shards to make him more powerful, so he could avenge his father, who was killed by the Thunder Brothers. Once the Thunder Brothers capture Kagome, Inuyasha has no choice but to save her, needing her to detect the Jewel Shards, of course. After defeating the Thunder Brothers, Inuyasha, Kagome, and Shippou end up going off tgether. Shippou having to be kept refusing to be left. He finds great friendship with Kirara, the cat demon of Sango's. He seemss to like little tricks as well.
Kirara

Employment: Transport for Sango, Miroku, and Shippou

Abilities: Grow big and fly Kirara is the cat demon of Sango's. Having been Sango's 'pet' before the village was attacked, she went with Sango and appeared to be a big help when it came to transportation for those who can't run super fast.
