Hi,
Welcome
to Seidach Kennel. My name is Sue Cassel and my husband is Dennis.
We have bred many Champions through
the years. Not only Dachshunds (our primary breed), but Irish
Setters and Australian Shepherds.
I
have bred, shown and trained dogs since 1978. My love for dogs
started when I was only 5 years old. I started training all my
pets to do tricks.
I
went on to ride horses and work with Thoroughbreds on the race
track.
I
eventually came back to dogs and became a Breeder and
Professional Handler. I started with the beautiful breed of
Irish Setters. I still today think they are the most
beautiful breed of all. Dennis and I married in 1983.
He was not raised with big dogs and Irish Setters, with there
frolicking behavior, are not for everyone and I wanted to find
a breed that he could also enjoy. I got our first lovely
Long Hair Dachshunds. I bought the first one for a pet and
named him Yankee Doodle Dandy and called him Andy. Andy
did turn out to be a show dog and started our wonderful life in
Dachshunds.
I
strive to breed healthy puppies with sound temperaments and strong
bodies. I want everyone of my dogs to live with families full
of children. I also strive for beauty and brains. So
