The Last Will & Testament of Philip SIEBER Dec�d
In the Name of God Amen   I
Philip SIEBER of the State of Tennessee and county of Anderson being in perfect health of body and of a perfect minde and memory thanks be to God, calling to mind the mortality of my body and knowing that it is appointed for all men once to die do make & ordain this my last Will and testament, first of all I give my Soul into the hands of Almighty God that gave it and My body I recommend to the Earth to be burried in decent Christian burrial, and as tr__khing Worldly Estate wherewith It has pleased God to bless me in this life I give demise and dispose of the same in the following manner and form.  First I want all my Just Debts paid Second I give and bequeath to my beloved Son Frederick SIEBER�S heirs the Sum of one dollar and thirdly the balance of my Sons & Daughters I give and bequeath to Each of them One dollar and fourthly I give and bequeath to my beloved Wife. Wife Mary SEIBER all my personal and real Estate during her Widow hood or lifetime and lastly at her death my beloved Son Joseph SIEBER is to have all of my land and tenements and the balance of my property then to be divided Equally among my children Frederick SIEBER heirs, excepted. I likewise Constitue make and Ordain Joseph Sieber Executor of this my last Will & Testament and I do hereby utterly disommit all and every other former testament Wills  bequeaths and Executors by me in anywise before made willed and bequeathed Ratifying and Confirming this and no others to be my last Will and testament in witness where of I have set my hand and Seal the this the 11th day of September 1833.

We the undersigned freeholders of Anderson County after being duly sworn have provided to set apart
Elenor SEIBER widow of Saml SEIBER decd so much of the crop and provisions on hand as will be sufficient in our opinions to support her and her family one year from the death of her husband we set apart to her, her said purpose the following articles, towit, sixty bushels of corn, eight hundred lbs of pork or money to buy with fifteen dollars to by salt, coffee &c with all the _____  on hand, ten bushels of wheat all the wool and cotton on hand, eight dollars worth of leather or _____.  This 29th Sept 1858.

Know all men by these presence.  That I
Minnie HARRELL SEIVERS realizing the uncertainty of life and the certainty of death, and considering the present state of my health and being of sound mind and disposing memory doth make, declare, and publish this my last will and testament.

1st  As soon after my death as practical I direct that my executor to sell either at private or public sale as may seem to him best a sufficient amount of my property now in my possession to carry out the provisions of my will.

2nd  I direct that all my debts be paid as soon after my death as practical.

3rd  I direct that after my death that I be dressed in white and be placed in a white coffin, and be burried where it may seem to my friends to be most practical and best.

4th  I direct my executor to erect suitable and appropriate memorial stones at the grave of my deceased husband,
Millard SEIVERS, my mother, Mrs. Nannie HARRELL, my sisters Callie and Rena HARRILL and myself.

5th After carrying out the above provisions of this will, if there be a remainder of the property which I now have on hands, I devise and bequeath it to my sister Artie HARRILL COX, and I hereby direct my Executor to either sell it and pay the money to her or deliver it to her in kind, according to desire or wish of said Artie HARRELL COX.

6th  I hereby direct my executor to continue a litigation which I have in the Chancery Court of Anderson County over the property of my husband and to institute any other proceedings which may be necessary to recover possession of all property, real, personal, or mixed, including remainders, reversions and inheritance together with all rights of actions both in law and Equity and of every kind whatsoever, to which I am justly entitled and to the extent that may be necessary for the institution and carrying on these litigations and for the carrying out of the provisions of this will I hereby vest title in my said Executor but no further or otherwise.

7th  I direct all recoveries in said litigation or litigations where not already in cash to be converted into cash by public sale.

8th  Out of these recoveries I direct my executor to pay all necessary expenses of these litigations and any other debt that may chance to remain unpaid.

9th  I direct my Executor in consultation with, and assisted by Dr. M. G. D. HARRILL and Mr. H. M. COX and J. M. JONES to invest the remainder of my estate in real estate for the use of my sister Artie HARRILL COX, for and during her natural life with the fee simple in her children.

10th  I hereby appoint and nominate my uncle S. P. FOWLER as Executor of this my last will and testament.

Minnie H. SEIVERS deceased, in open court for probate and A. J. LOYD and Caswell QUEENER the subscribing witnesses thereto, came and after being duly sworn proved the same according to law, and the court being satisfied from the testimony of the subscribing witnesses that said instrument is the last Will and Testament of said Minnie H. SEIVERS it is, therefore, ordered by the court that said instrument be admitted to probate as such and that the same be copied on the Will Book and the original filed in the Clerk�s office, This Feby. 22, 1915.

SEIBER came into open court and after being duly sworn, proved the same according to law; and the court being satisfied from the proof that said instrument is the last Will and testament of the said Wm SEIBER, it is, therefore, ordered by the Court that instrument be admitted to probate as the last Will and testament of the said Wm SEIBER and that said instrument be copied on the Will book and the original filed in the Clerk office.  This Jany 3, 1916.

This my last will and testament, that is to say, I hereby will and bequeath to my wife Alvina all the right and title to all the property real and personal that I am possessed of during her natural life, after her death the land to descend to my daughter
Elizabeth during her single life, after her death or marriage to be an equal divide, if married she to have only an equal divide with the rest of the children but while she remains single to have all the profits of the land holding the possession of the same.  In witness I have here unto set my hand and seal, this the 2nd day of May 1891
