Daniel SEIBER
Former Miner in Marissa, is dead.

SEIBER, 76 years old, former miner, died yesterday afternoon in the home of his daughter, Mrs. Walter Dial, in Marissa.  He had been ill for several years.
Mr.
SEIBER was born in Knoxville, TN a son of the late George and Eda SEIBER, nee Henderson, on December 29, 1859.  He married Miss Sarah Jane Tooley in Central City, KY on August 9, 1885.  She died on September 15, 1905.
Besides Cynthia, wife of Walter Dial, he leaves three sons, Milton, John, and Clifford
SEIBER, all of Marissa; four half sisters, Mrs Martha Hasting of Hillside, KY., Mrs Mary Tooley of Hopkinsville, KY., Mrs Kate Dowss of Central City, KY., and Miss Emma Jane of Marissa, and 10 grandchildren.  A son Guy died August 21, 1903.

SEIBER has resided in Marissa for 29 years.  He was a member of the Progressive Miners of America Local No 78.
The funeral will be held at 8 o'clock tomorrow afternoon form the home of Walter Dial to the Marissa City, Cemeter.  The minister has not been selected.  Finger and Son of Marissa will be in charge.

Milton SEIBER
Is dead at age 84.

SEIBER, 84 year old retired coal miner of Marissa, died at 1:40 p.m. Friday at the Community Hospital at Sparta, where he had been a patient since June 28.
Born in Central City, KY, on 16 June 1886, he was son of the late Daniel and Sarah Jane Tooley
SEIBER.  His first wife, the former Ethel Goaring, preceeded him in death in 1953.  He married Ella Taylor on December 2, 1953.
Besides his wife, he is survived by a brother John
SEIBER of Marissa. A son, a daughter, two brothers and a sister also preceeded him in death.

SEIBER was a member of the First Baptist Church of Tilden and the United Mine Workers Local 596, of Marissa.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday beginning at 2:00 p.m. at the Finger Funeral Home.  The Rev. Wayne Brichner, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Tilden, will officiate.  Burial will be in the Marissa City Cemetery.  Friends may call at the Funeral home after 4:00 p.m. today.
