SEIBER, McKamy, Burris to Duncan Anderson County, Tennessee Deed Book D-2, page 47, 48 Know all men by these presents that We John SEIBER Nancy McKamy and Mariah Burris agree of Samuel SEIBER Deceased of Roane County, Tennessee have sold and do hereby sell Grant � Convey and Confirmed unto � Isaac M. Duncan and his heirs and assigns of Anderson County, Tennessee. In consideration of the sum of twenty-five dollars the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged do grant and confirm unto the said Isaac M. Duncan all the right and Title and Interest. I have to the following described premises situate in the State of Tennessee, Anderson Co: an the Waters of Mountain fork of Poplar Creek, Civil District No: 7 and bounded as follows (viz) Beginning on a White oak on the side of the Spur of the Mountain thence N63 W 64 poles to a stake at the creek thence West 70 poles to a chestnut on the side of the Mountain thence N 45 W poles to a White oak thence W 18 East with the Conditional Line and fence Between I. M. Duncan and the heirs of Samuel SEIBER _____ it. Reaches William Ayers Cross fence Thence north East with said fence to the Lane thence with said lane to will Creek then up said creek to a stake Samuel Seiber Corner thence 85 West 43 poles W the beginning containing two hundred acres more or less Being all the lands that Samuel Seiber died Seized possessed of to have and to hold to the said purchaser his heirs and assigns forever and I expressly release and claims under homestead and Dower laws and covenant that I have good right to convey said premises that they are free from all incumbrances whatever to said Isaac M. Duncan his heirs forever the above described peace of land and that the title to the same to the above named purchaser will forever warrant and defend. | This deed proves some of the daughters of Rev. John Seiber and Alvina.. Some researchers believe that Mariah one of his daughters died young, but this will show otherwise. She is also shown on 1880 census with husband Samuel Martin in Arkansas. Typed as written�WRA John SEIBER Roane County, Tennessee Deed Book G-3, page 88 Margaret Davis & others to E. T. McKinney } This Indenture, made this 30th day of January 1894 between Margaret Davis, Phoebe McKinney, Nancy Grubb, Ruth Grubb, Malinda Hoskins and Mariah Martin�s heirs, (These being the lawful heirs of John SEIBER estate) of Roane & Anderson Co�s Tennessee & Arkansas parties of the first part and E. T. McKinney of Roane Co. Tennessee party of the second part.- Witnesseth � That in the consideration of the sum of $65 Sixty-five Dollars each cash in hand paid, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged. The parties of the first part do hereby sell and convey unto the party of the Second part, his heirs and assigns the following described property with all hereditaments & appurtenances thereunto belonging, or appertaining to wit, Their part in one Farm in Roane & Anderson Co�s Tennessee containing Fifty acres more or less viz: - Beginning at corner Stone being the intersections of the lands of Stephen Bradley & Annis McKinney and running with said Bradley�s line to top of East Fork ridge thence down top of said ridge to county line thence with Annis McKinney & John Seiber conditional line from top East Fork Ridge to a Walnut at foot of East Fork ridge thence to Center of Spring thence to a stone near the old road, thence to a large cherry thence to the beginning. To have and to hold said property unto party of Second part his heirs and assigns forever Said parties of the first part hereby release all their right title and interest in said property, including the Homestead Exemption allowed by law and covenant to warrant generally the property hereby conveyed, with all the appurtenances thereunto belonging. John SEIBER Jr. to John SEIBER Sr. Anderson County, Tennessee Deed Book I-1, page 286, 287 This Indenture made this twenty third day of February in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and thirty six by and between John Sieber Junr of the County of Anderson and state of Tennessee of the one part and John Sieber Senr of the County & State above mentioned of the other part.
