Rheivan Madaur
This dark souled Paladin,
Held out from his Uncle Ihsan’s dark barrage.
To remain a paladin of Nadrik,
and Captain of the Lance.
Alas! He stands with us no more,
falling in battle to the horde.
Rhiedyr Glain
As Seal sought to find an heir,
He found two knights for consideration.
This knight was made General of the Shield,
And Xybian considered General of the Lance.
Wisdom won over Strength and Passion,
and he served the Keep with great skill and care.
Notes from Aenarion:
History will say that Rheidyr was not a successful General. Personally I think it was because he had the misfortune to serve directly after Seal. He could not replace the retired General and was not much welcomed because of it. Presided over the vampires in Shalonesti debacle and was unable to prevent the Keep almost tearing itself in two over the matter. His tenure also reportedly led to Ihsan’s departure and eventual downfall.
