Dear Sehorn Web visitors,

I run this site from a small country town in Louisiana. I've never been to New York City, never seen the World Trade Centers. I've never even seen Jason Sehorn play in a game before.

But on September 11, 2001 I saw two planes fly into the World Trade Center buildings. I saw those buildings collapse, I watched in horror as people ran from the falling debris. I felt the anger and the sorrow every American is, and will feel for years to come, felt. I took this site down for one week to remember the fallen, the innocents in the this great tragedy.

Jason Sehorn has done many incredible things on the football field. He's helped many people through his charitable foundations. But in this time of crisis let us not forget those
firefighters, police officers, emergency medical technicians, doctors, nurses, and Joe Q. Public who helped in the search for survivors of this horrific tradgedy. Yes, this is a fan site for an accomplished athlete. But as you visit here, be reminded of the fact that those men down there as I type this, one week after the attack, will most likely never have web sites devoted to them.

We must
never forget these faceless men and women.  We will never know every single one of their names, their stories or their achievements in life. But we know that they fought long and hard, through conditions which will never be seen on a playing field. They fought for the lives of their brothers, their sisters, their family and their friends. They fought for strangers and for this they deserve so much more than just a blip on the World Wide Web.

Jason Sehorn is a New York athlete. I'm sure this site receives many hits from people based in New York and New Jersey. And I wonder, through the thousands of hits this site has received, if any of those that were once visitors to this site were casualties on that fateful day.

My thoughts and prayers are with the families and friends of those lost. To the rescue workers of New York, and those that traveled from all over the United States to aid in the search, I salute you. For in this life, you are the true
heroes.

                                          Sincerly,
                                         Sehorn Web
