What strengths does this student/intern demonstrate as a human services professional in your agency or organization? Julie has become a confident, self-sufficient individual. Julie has become knowledgeable based on resources, coordinating programs, teaching and preparing lessons on skill building. Julie has integrity and is devoted to the cause of making a difference in the lives of the people she works with. 2. What recommendations do you have for this student/intern to enhance his/her learning and professional development in your agency? I recommend that Julie pursue her goals in the human resource area or in the area of counseling. Julie has a sincere sensitivity to ones who are not so fortunate as herself. 3. What progress do you see the student/intern making on his/her learning objectives? Julie has progressed to the point where she has become a leader. She has learned to develop her skills by observing, listening and doing. 4. Describe how the student demonstrates knowledge and behavior of accepted standards of ethical conduct, especially professional relationships with clients and staff. Julie understands and follows her views on confidentiality. Julie professionally deals with her clients in an understanding and empathetic way. Julie is a team player. She respects the rights of others and is open to constructive criticism. 5. What new areas of learning do you suggest for this student/intern? I suggest that Julie still learn to set her boundaries appropriately so that she does not get �burned out.� To complete a job knowing you have �given it the best� is far better than doing multiple tasks and not feeling like the job was well done. 6. What additional comments, insights, and/or information would you like to sharem with this student/intern? Julie, you have had an exceptional quarter. I�ve seen maturity, I�ve seen you grow in confidence. I see your love for children and the desire to help them become the best they can be. You are an encourager. Remember not to get too involved and set the boundaries where you know your limits are. Pursue your dreams as you travel the journey of life. Thanks for being a part of FCS. |
