| This knife was somthing my cousin made..... the tip broke off so i took it and made a new handle for it.. cleaned up the break and drew out the tang a bit giving it more grip in the handle so the handle would stay on better. The handle was burned and coated in olive oil, then whole knife was put into and oven at around 375 degrees for around 5-10 minutes. I did this to let the olive oil become obsorbed into the handle. I chose to use olive oil, because it is quite pure. since you will either eat with these knives or you may get cut with them they are quenched with, and kept covered in a film of olive oil (stay away from vegetable oil because it will get very sticky and it will not come off. |

| This knife I made for my father for fathers day. It is made from 1095 spring steel, and was differentially hardend. It has a nice hamon line but I chose not to etch it. The handle was leather wrapped and made to get dirty. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| This knife I made for my sweet heart. The blade is made from wire damascus, unfortunatly the pattern did not show up on this picture so I will have to take another picture. The bolster is a ring of copper with a spiraling grove cut into it and the handle is oak burned with an astrix burned into the handle. the whole knife was then coated in olive oil to give it a nice shine, and to protect the blade from rusting. |

| Here is another new one I like the twist a lot. the brass ring is a piece from a propane torch that I finally wore out. the castelations are the air mixing holes from the torch head. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
