All the HTML files are direct conversions of the Ascii files which were made available by Ian Marsh exclusively to the Who-RPG home page (http://www.tardis.ed.ac.uk/~type40/who-rpg.html).

At one time Mr. Marsh had slated to release an HTML version of Time Lord but due to various reasons, that project was discontinued. As a result, work started on the HTML port of the rules but did not get very far into the conversion until May of 2001. To quote Mr. Marsh from his original readme file accompanying the ASCII release of the game:

"In due course I will release an HTML version of the game which can be viewed using a Web browser. This will be released as a package of files for installation on a hard disk. The HTML version is intended to make it easy to refer to individual sections of the rules -- far handier than an index, which, by the way, Time Lord does not have."

Doctor Who -- Time Lord was originally published by Virgin Publishing in 1991 (ISBN 0426 203623), with illustrations by Colin Howard. It is out of print and only if you're lucky will you find a copy.

This electronically published edition is copyright 2001 Ian Marsh and Peter Darvill-Evans. It is published on the understanding that the rights to the book have reverted to the authors.

As Time Lord is freeware, it is hoped that this version of the game is acceptable to the authors. The publication of the game in this form should not be taken as a challenge to the ownership of said copyright, the owners being Mr. Marsh and Mr. Darvill-Evans.

Doctor Who -- Time Lord is copyright (c) 1991, 1996 Ian Marsh and Peter Darvill-Evans.
Doctor Who is also copyright (c) 1963, 1996 BBC.
