Sadly my dreamcast was stolen in a burgulary a few months ago. Luckily I got this wonderful game 3 months before hand just after it was released. I still own the game and may sell it . However I'm saving up for a game cube so I can get this game again. This is one big birthday celebration for sonic as it was released ten years after sonic one. I can tell you that this is the best game for the dreamcast and the best sonic game ever. On to the review . . .

LEVELS:

This game has the same type of levels as the sonic one stages. They have taken the boring adventure bits out and put in all stages. The Sonic and shadow levels are like the sonic ones in the last game except alot better and they are so fast and like a roller coaster that you'll not be able to catch a breath. The knuckles and rouge ones are like the knuckles levels in the last game were you have to find emerald shards. Perhaps the worst type of level but more puzzling this time and slightly better. The last two characters, tails and robotnik are like harder versions of the gamma shooting levels in the last game and alot of fun. You get to choose dark or hero for the game and there is fifteen levels in each. If you complete both then you get the final chapter with a really hard level and a couple of tough bosses. Then if you get all 180 emblems (five objectives per level) You get . . . wait for it . . . a 3D version of the green hill zone in sonic one. smashing stuff! There is also the chao who were in the last game but I forgot to mention them. You have to raise the chao to win emblems in chao races. Then there's the racing levels (three courses) in one and two player mode and a two player mode were you race against, hunt or shoot each other. The races in two player are very good but the other two modes aren't. phew! That's alot of material and after all that it has to get this mark 10/10

BOSSES:

The bosses are only slightly harder then the sonic adventure ones but they are alot more fun. The final chapter has a very tough first boss and then you get to be super sonic and super shadow to defeat the pretty tough final boss. Over all it is alot more fun tyhan the last game but it is still a bit easy 7/10

MUSIC:

The music is pretty good in this game. The sky rail zone has some class music and the music playing now is good (sonic's theme tune) Also the first level is good and basically the majority of the music is good quality. 9/10

REPLAYABILITY:

Well, 180 emblems a good two player, chao raising. This is one game to come back to an awful lot 10/10

TOTAL

The amount of good things in this game is overwhelming. This is the best sonic game ever. The gamecube version will be even bigger too. Like the old saying, if you get one game for your dreamcast this should be it.
