I.C.E

(In Car Entertainment)

Here's a summary of the sound system in my Nova SR, its not revolutionary or competition standard, but it goes loud enough, and sounds good, apart from the Nova-rattles!

Front:

Kenwood KDC-MP6090R MP3 CD headunit.

Boss sounds 2x120W amplifier in a 'tasteful' purple.

Kenwood KFC-p502, 5" mid and Tweeter Components.

Rear:

Legacy LA830, 800W, 4x100rms amplifier.

JVC CS-V6930 6x9s

Kenwood KFC-WS253 10" sealed enclosure 'tornado' type sub.

Other:

Remote power switches for amplifiers,

-Random Vauxhall switches to match existinng one- in heated seat blanks.

Home-made door speaker pods for mids,

-Fibreglass/MDF custom, trimmed grey to maatch interior.

Home-made MDF sealed sub enclosure,

-made to fit around inner wheel arch to maaximise boot space.

Home-made MDF Amp rack,

-Nothing crazy, just a simple rack to holdd the Legacy amplifier in place, trimmed grey to match interior.

Home-made MDF 'stealth' type parcel shelf,

-It was an off the-shelf MDF shelf bought by previous owner, but they had badly cut out holes and it wasn't an exact fit.  So I chopped it up and remade parts of it, with a 11" meshed round port (not by design, previous owner had cut a shoddy hole for a free-air sub so I had to neaten it up), trimmed grey to match interior.

In the rear-

Needs tidying - The wires will be held into place neatly soon, and hopefully I'll make a top cover for the amp rack.
