My first car, and the car I learned to drive in, an red A-reg Nova, gotta love it!. Previously my mum's, and now I've got no idea who's, as I had to give it away (the scrappy wanted to charge me for it!) This was annoying mainly because even though the shell was obviously seriously rotted, the engine and running gear was rock solid and still at only about 80K, pretty low for an A-reg.
OK, so it wasn't a rocket ship but it got me from A-B via random bendy roads pretty quickly and was great fun ;)

With the black GTE front trim, I never took any decent photos of it once all the trim (mirrors, door strips, rear bumper etc) was Gloss Black - which is a shame, so these will have to do-
The engine strip down - replacing all the gaskets-
Grrr, when the neighbour didn't look when she reversed -
THE BIBLE: Haynes Manual, sometimes great, sometimes useless. With frustrating classic phrases such as 'refitting is reverse of removal', If you haven't got one, why not?-
The pictures of our current cars are higher colour/res than these.
