His significant Achievement    

 a)  Serving as the President-Junior Chamber International-Pondicherry offering the best services to the younger generation to develop their Leadership quality and Individual Development and thereby helping their progress.  Also, conducting various programmes such as Medical Camps, Eye Camp, Blood Donation, Dental Camp, Yoga, Art and Craft Teacher Training Course etc.,

 b)  As the President of Pondicherry 7-A side football Association, conducted the National Level Tournament in the month of May 2006 participating the champion from all over India and Sri Lanka which is the true landmark of National Integrity.

 c)  Self exposure of the teacher in the leading Daily “Dhinakaran” published on 29.07.2005.

 d)  As an animator (Part time instructor) in the state adult education programme handled classes for VIII & X Standard dropouts (Adults) and thereby helped to pass in the examinations by appearing board of secondary examinations.

 e)  A school building with a fully equipped laboratory with an estimate of 56 lakhs being sanctioned by Junior Chamber International-India was carried out and inaugurated during  JCI-Pondicherry Presidential year 2006.

f)  An amount of Two and Half lakhs was distributed to 125 students of Government High School, Nonankuppam by JCI-India National President-2006 during Presidential period in the name of Vidhyadhan.

 g)  Worked as Commune Project Co-ordinator in Post Literacy Campaign for promoting the Literacy programmes.

 h)  A programme on Raj TV “AGADA VIGADAM” was displayed and telecasted.

His special Attention 

 

 a)  Conducted special classes even during the Saturdays and Sundays and Evening classes for the 10^th standard Students and used to conduct unit tests, slip tests, periodical tests for 10^th Std. students.

 b)  Mathematical Geometry Boxes and Writing Materials is being distributed  to all 10^th Std. students at the teacher’s own cost since 2001 – 2002.

 c)  An hour Training program about Examination skills for 10^th standard was conducted to create self confidence to face the examination normally.

 Extra Curricular Activities:

 

a)     “Vetri Nitchayam” for X Standard rural students in co-ordination with  Dinagaran Daily News Paper during the year 2003-04, 2004-05 and co-ordination with Junior Chamber International-Pondicherry in the year 2005-06  and “Vazhikattuthal Nigazhchi” for 10^th standard in association  with State Training Centre, Puducherry – 2006-2007.

 

b)     State Level Mega Chess Tournament for school children throughout Pondicherry and TamilNadu during the year 2004 & 2005.

 

c)     National Level Talent search competition for 11^th & 12^th students in co-ordination with Junior Chamber International-Pondicherry was conducted in the year 2005, 2006 & 2007 

 

Co-Curricular Activities:

 

a)     As an organizer, achieved all first prizes for Folk-dance, English and Tamil Dramas at Zonal Level Youth Festival and achieved State Level Second Prize for English Drama during the year 2002-03 and got State Level Second Prize for Tamil Drama during the year 2003-04.

 

b)     Organized and celebrated all National Functions in the School.

 

c)     The teacher is very much instrumental in organizing Educational Tour to the  Historical places in Puducherry and to Birla Planetorium at Chennai.

 

d)     The teacher took much stress and strain to make Nature preserving awareness among the students and public by conducting sapling plantation, rallies, human chain etc., 

 

e)     Organized and arranged Study Tour to Agricultural Farm House, Madagadipet, fossil stones at Thiruvakkarai, Arikkanmedu Ariyankuppam River Bank (Mangrove Vegetation), etc., 

 

f)       Participated in Literary Meetings like Kaviyarangam, Patti Mandram and oration in Doordharshan, TV channels and other medias and in public meeting.

 

Articles wrote:

a)  Has written Tamil Poems about “Greens” and its importance in the leading Daily “Dinagaran” titled as VAARAM ORU KEERAI

 

b)  In the evening daily “Malai Malar”, Tamil Poems about the Medicinal Values of Trees and Fruits were written periodically.

                                                    

c)  In the “Daily Thanthi”, an article about “Medicinal Value of Herbs” was written once in every week.

 h)  5 day orientation on content enrichment in X Standard from 21.06.2004 to 25.06.2004.

 g)  One day seminar on Forestry, Wildlife and Bio-diversity on 22.11.2006

 h)   As official in Zonal School Games Competitions in the Game of Athletics organized at Government Higher Secondary School, Thavalakuppam (05.12.2006 & 06.12.2006).
