Dude, its halloween, my favorite holiday. Anyway, i
kinda celibrated it last night. Anyway, its snowing like crazy here. Its awesome, everything
is covered in snow and there's hella snowball fights. So i'm going for this summer internship
at Lockheed Martin, pretty cool stuff. Yup, thats about it.

"In the People's Republic of California, after learning that 30% of the
city's high school seniors would graduate, the San Francisco Board of Education has dropped
its tough graduation requirements for the class of 2001. Ah, Left Coast logic -- outcome-based
education in its finest hour!" -The Federalist What the hell is this! Instead of teaching
kids what they need to know to survive the adult world they're letting them just slide through
being idiots. Whats the point of school if they're gonna let you out withou learning anything.
And ofcourse this is a liberal idea, find the easiest solution. Teachers are constantly letting
students get by without learning what they need to know. This is slowly ruining our society.
What happens when these kids that are let out get older and are put in positions of power. Anyway
i read this today and thought it was horrible so i posted it.

History is nothing more than an interpretation of the
past, but what if we have been interpreting it wrong all this time. In my archeology class
my teacher constantly says that we have so little to create a picture with that there is no
way to know if we are right or not. I look at the Great Pyramid in wonder in that we really
don't know a thing about it. It clearly wasn't a tomb, there was no body in it or paintings,
artwork, or supplies for the afterlife. Why are the "tombs" in the Great Pyramids so vastly
different than all other Egyptian tombs? Clearly they weren't tombs. But what were they then?
I hope that within my lifetime we discover what the Great Pyramids were used for. I also believe
that within my lifetime we will begin to look at our past in new ways, find new connections
between ancient cultures.

So i watched Stargate (one of my favorite movies) last night
. It was one of those rainy stormy nights where you're just sitting in your room thinking, dreaming.
Anyway, i was watching the movie and i suddenly thought of a really good point it made that
i had never noticed before. The main character Daniel said that based on the fact that there
it no writing in the great pyramids, we really don't know what they were used for. He then went on
to say that based on this we must complletely re=examin all ancient history, this time without
pre=made theories of how it happened. I really liked this idea. I wrote a 30 page paper on
the evidence of ET contact with ancient civilizations, mostly the Egyptians and Mayans, and
the Pyramid structure, and especially the Great Pyramids are the most misunderstood things in
our past. I really think that we should look at our past and create theories based on evidence
rather than ideas.

Holy cow, its been a while. Anyway, i've been pretty
busy with clubs and lacrosse and homework and stuff. Last weekend was parents weekend so ofcourse
my parents headed down here. Wasn't all that bad. Was nice seein them after such a long time.
Ofcourse there's a couple people i miss more then them back home, one in particular. But anyways,
i got a game this weeken that im looking forward to. It'll be my first game in the Dome (oh
yah, scrapped knees). I've been kinda sick lately which always sucks but i'm still having
fun here. So last night my roomate brought up one of his friends and these two girls. I must
say, they were complete idiots. Seriously, i've never met two chicks more stupid, and i graded
math A papers for a year. Not only were they stupid but they were freakin ugly too. On the good
side though they did bring some Bud with them. I'll make good use of that this weekend.
Would have had some last night but i had an 8am class this morning that i had to go to. So i
got everything set to get back at thanksgiving and see everyone. That'll be cool. Yeah, so..
till next time i guess.

Well, its been a while. Anyway, the concert was cancelled
which sucked, but atleast i got my 40 bucks back. I had my first lacrosse game yesterday.
Damn that game was fun. I dislocated someone's shoulder off the face off. That was pretty
cool. The only thing that sucked is our whole team got dehydrated (we were in Phoenix) and
we lost by a couple goals. Then after the game we went to Hooters... awesome place to eat.
that was cool, and then there was the two hour drive back here to NAU listening to DMB. Overall
i had a cool weekend.
