questions pending
mind is burning
just what are we
roaming our world
is there a god
always watching
perhaps many
ever lasting
are we alone
in this place that
was created
for our glory

what if this is all a lie
why are we all here
always questions never answers
about this thing called life

we keep living
always dying
all just circles

thousands of years
we have lived here
always wonder
what is this life
and what happens 
when we parish
will we rise to
heaven’s glory

how do we know whats the truth
guess we must have faith
faith in all or nothing something
must we leave this place

everything grows

story goes on
keeps repeating
man creates life
then destroys it

learn our lesson
children roaming
in a lost world
search for answers
don’t understand

we spend our lives searching for
the meaning of life
always searching never learning
to enjoy our time

time is always
moving onward
not a second
do we regain
a reminder
of what we are
still just mortals
never forget
enjoy your time
it’s ticking down
soon we’ll be dead

we are all going to die
only few live on
