the wall we walk around everyday never seeing anything never thinking about life or many questions pending always looking at the ground as if to look up means we'll fall down tripping over shoelaces remnants left of carelessness sometimes its hard just to sit and think like the squeeks of an unused door just a bit of oil will do alas we can't even do that anymore we we're once a mighty wall full with battlements and men of honor to guard its strength living to defend it time has past and men have gone lost in petty struggles a crumbling heap of once proud stone remaining only a memory a recallection of what once was now lost forgotten lore and when one wanders to this place discovering past ruins they may wonder what took place that could destroy this as battles rage throughout his mind fierce and undefeated never will he know the truth of simple abandonment people die and stories change the past is lost to us and always new hope comes to light only to be lost in shadow for we are so lost as to never find the way lost within our very souls
