i see a tree just sitting there standing all alone free as a bird that flies through the sky gentle as a new born can be completely free to stay and be until we come along we need a church to celebrate life so kill this poor old tree all life is sacred we must recall living is our cause to become one with the land is but my only dream free to roam and bask in beauty never seen before explore our world as it was meant to be created by god’s hands the universe so beautiful always does it grow so who are we to take this life to praise His glory can’t we be thankful for this land unharmed and innocent but you’d rather destroy it all to give a little comfort to those who grow up evermore never knowing what a tree is never could you describe to someone the beauty of nature this one thing jt must be seen to remain forever there in our hearts and in our songs its glory shall live on to kill that tree to praise your lord never mind that it is free and the beauty you take in one quick chop shall remain forever lost and those who come there after you shall never know the truth that once our world was beautiful yet we destroyed it so i see this tree it must be free to stand there all alone old as time and long forgotten continues to grow we see its beauty take it’s gifts enjoy it’s long cool shadow when it’s gone all that remains the stump of what we’ve become wandering creatures with out a soul searching for a place to rest use this stump and use it well after all it could be worse little green can i see now our world is overgrown infected by all those who seek money and sex and greed this world no more can be considered one with mother nature killed it off as if it were just an annoying pest swatted it with no remorse our hearts as cold as death i wish i could just leave this world i’m lost in it’s deep void return to the woods and their beauty to live forevermore
