i'm lost in a world unknown to me
swept away in the dark of night
alone to all and to none
i can no longer see my path
the road ahead is dark and dreary
so unknown from things before
what is it this life holds for me
i cannot see i cannot dream
no longer do i know myself
i'm in a world lost in the past

i wish that everyday could be
one pulled from my memories
the past it is alive in me
while everything around me dies

i have changed so very much
yet i know none of myself
i am no longer who i am
i've lost myself i've lost my mind
soon all hope will die away
leaving only shattered remains
a broken ruin of lost beauty
worn to nothing by winds of time
ages i have battled strong
but walls collapse and so i fall

a blind mans lonely dream i live
walking searching endlessly
all i see is blackness round
a shadow of loss pulled over me

running towards its final fate
