dark alone this is my soul
wandering the lonely night
never sees the suns bright rays
eternal night consumes thee

wandering an endless path
lost in darkness of itself
trying only to be found
by another seeking soul

swimming drowning lost at sea
or perhaps my own misery
lost in a world unknown to me
simply striving just to breathe

i cannot live i cannot die
my soul is trapped between two gates
passage through either i cannot taste
i simply watch as time flows by

the void in me it always grows
swollowing my lonely soul
forever lies it within us
great darkness that now is my soul
