covering us in their folds

every night
we think we dream
but whos dream

the worlds we see
they are not ours
filled with hopes
lost in shadows
the blackness gives
comfort to us
a small escape from

what would we be

a speck of light

what is inbetween these things
the space between dream and reality
is there but a shadow there
an image of what we really are
this world is so unknown to us
lost in a sea of mysteries
yet in our dreams we know all things
still we know nothing of reality
only what we see in our dreams
a world lost in a sea of green
and so our castles in the sky
are where we go when our world dies

where we are eternally free
