Okay you might be saying what's the big deal? Who cares if it means ADULTERATE , DISILLUSION, knowledgeable, cultured or appealing. Is there a clue in the bible from the Almighty what the word really does mean? Yes there is lets look at Matt 11:25 & Luke 10:21 but first I will give you two translations one is from King James Version (w/ Strong's Numbers) & Literal Translation of the Holy Bible.

Mat 11:25 Answering at that time, Jesus said, I praise You, Father, Lord of Heaven and of earth, because You hid these things from the sophisticated and cunning and revealed them to babes.
(Like always the true name is not Jesus but Yahoshua; meaning Yah is Salvation.)
Is the Literal Translation giving us a bad translation? I believe so because Messiah Yahoshua is not talking about ADULTERATE or DISILLUSION in Matt 11:25 & Luke 10:21 but He is talking about the the wise.
