| (06) Waitin' for a Train Sittin' here on ramp thirteen Waitin' for a midnight train To carry me away from here And all this sorrow and pain The train I await is long and black And the devil is the engineer I really don't care where the train ends up As long as it's out of here My journey will take me past worn out towns With shining new veneer I'll go up the snow-capped mountain And through canyons dark and drear The ride on the train is smooth and sweet My heart so loves what it does But when the ride is over and the train comes to a stop I'm right back where I was John A.
