| 12/08/02 Hey everybody! Richard has returned from his southern hemisphere adventures with a few tales to tell...but (fortunatly for you) not now. With his come back to the band, we have a gig lined up.... Tuesday 20th August 2002 Wembley Rugby Club Doors around 7:30pm Supported by White Lie Flyers will be about and entry price will be confirmed soon. If you like what you hear, you should be able to get a demo off one of us, only 3 quid Its nice to be back...see you all soon. 11/06/02 Wow...updates are becomnig frequent! Due to the sudden announcement of gigs, i thought it would be a nice idea to have a page dedicated to them. Not only will it provide the latest information available about our gigs, but it will also give the band a chance to leave their thoughts on how previous gigs went. So check it out! 10/06/02 Ok, why bother creating a flyer page when i can just link you all to the one available on the harrow bands site? Anyway, click here to be redirected to to the flyer! 10/06/02 Gig dates confirmed!! First up, we will be playing alongside our friends Sporadic and Rx at Wembley Rugby Club on the 28th of June, not too sure of doors or prices just yet, but there is a flyer knocking about. It'll go up on here asap. We will also be playing the Hope and Anchor on the 16th of July and the Bull and Gate on the 2nd of august. More details of these dates will be announced nearer 28/05/02 Hey Everyone...lots has happened since the last update! First of all, the demo is complete! All the artwork and everything is finished, and the whole thing is available for the low low price of �3. To get your hands on one, you can approach us in the street, come to our gigs, or email us at [email protected]. Either way, we're very pleased with the outcome, and we think it is well worth hearing! Yes gigs! we have a number lined up. First off, We will be playing Wembley Rugby Club on the 28th of June, then the Hope and Anchor in Islington on the 16th of July, and finally the Bull and Gate in Kentish Town on the 2nd of August. All nights promise to be great, details to follow.... Finally we are sad to say that Richard has left the country. He decided to spend the summer with his girlfriend in Australia (but then i guess anyone would chose their gf over a rehersal room full of smelly blokes hehe). Needless to say he is an integral part of our band and will be sorely missed. So as not to get realy bored over the summer, and keep the band going, we have decided to temporarily replace him. Amit is taking up the unenvial task of playing lead guitar, Will is jumping from bass to rythmn guitar, and a close personal friend of the band Nick 'knickers' Rose has kindly agreed to play bass. A bio and pic of nick will go up as soon as we can get his lazy ass to do one! We are currently in rehersal to make sure we are ready for the aformentioned gigs, and you can all look forward to seeing us on a stage again in the near future! 5/5/02 Ok people! Apologies for the lack of updates for ages..so here it all is in one go....ready...(deep breath) First of all....recording is all done now, we have a demo for you all to hear and enjoy, it will be available fo you to buy soon, we just gotta make it look nice first, the track listing is as follows: 1.Petty People 2.Peace of Mind 3.Circles The demo should be completly finished over the next week or so, and we'll have some gigs etc.....we'll probably put one or two songs from it on our mp3 site. 8/4/02 Recording went very well yesterday...only a few more parts to do this week then by next week, we'll have a finished mix. we are working on some artwork for a sleeve for it to make it a bit more interesting.....so are u all excited or what? 3/4/02 Guess what? we're recording on sunday!! finally! lets just hope it all goes well! hoping to get it all done and finished and whatever in a coupla weeks, and then we can get gigs!! 4/02/01 Hey everyone...im sitting in the office at work...nothing to do...bored outta my mind just wondering if I could do an update on the computer! Well what do you know? Here it is!! Just to let you know we're in the process of doing a demo...its taking a lot longer than we had hoped, but we wanna make sure that we do it right. We're also in the process of looking for gigs, so keep a look out for announcements soon!! Will 31/12/01 Ok...everythings screwed! The for mentioned gig is really confused. It is no longer on the 12th of January...its been brought forward to the 11th of January to accomodate for someones birthday. Also Sporadic hav pulled out due to work pressures, and Whitelie have agreed to join the bill. The venue and entrance fee remain the same. A new flyer will go up really soon (as soon as they're done). We're really sorry if this causes any inconvenience, but its the only way we get to play! This time our complete lack of effort into this site isnt becasue we've been doing nothing! We have a gig!! Once again we'll be playing with our good friends Sporadic...this time at Wembely Rugby club (which is in harrow!) Wow...no one else would do it and i got sick of the flyer thing starin at me so i figured id do it. Yes we are very sorry that this has been quiet...we're all settlin into new jobs and really havent had the time. The good news however is we havent just been working on our lives. We've been hard at work in rehersal and come up with some intresting new stuff. I've got lots of lyrics to put up and a report of the gig with Sporadic should go up pretty soon. I'm also gonna moan at the guys and try and get some proper photos done..anything else? ooo yeh...me, amit and rich are gonna do some accoustic demos today..should be intresting. We know we been quiet recently after we promised gigs, but what can we say....the real world is hard!!! We've been out looking for jobs and stuff and really havent had much time. However there is good news..We will be playing Trinity Bar on Tuesday 16th October... doors are at 8 and it'll cost ya �2.00 to get in (or �1.50 if u bring a flyer). Support is still TBA, but we'll let you all know as soon as we do! We're also gonna put the flyers up on the site as soon as we finished making them...hope to see u all there - the band |
