THURSDAY GARDEN RHUBARB AND GINGER JAM

(available in good delicatessans everywhere...)

Comes in a lovely "country cottage" style jar that would look very fetching if you go for the chintzy look in your kitchen...but that's just my opinion...I go for the "everything rhubarb coloured" look myself.

Anyway, on with the review. This is pretty good jam, although it's a bit murky looking. Good rhubarb flavour with plenty of fruit, but watch out for chunks of ginger. I got a rather gingery surprise when I crunched on what a though was a lovely piece of rhubarb.

Still, pretty tasty overall, with a good "home-made" kind of thing about it. I give this a generally good 8 out of 10 9just watch out for those chunks of ginger)
