MAAC Home Visitation Workshop

for the SE Deanery

Welcome the Stranger Among Us

Sept. 16-17, 2005

At St. Margaret Mary Activity Center

Begins Fri at 6:30 to 9:30 pm

Sat. from 9 am to 5:30 pm

Sun. 9 am and closing Mass at 2:30 pm.

This bilingual workshop aims to develop and nurture the home visitors whose vision of themselves, as Christians, is centered in a profound experience of God and desire to welcome all people to fullness of life in the parish. It provides theoretical and practical leadership training to people involved in parish home visiting for culturally diverse communities. This workshop helps to engage participants in planning and implementing concrete visitation plans and strategies which allow them the opportunity to develop and practice new skills. Finally it helps to build a network of culturally and spiritually centered home visitors who can provide support and resources to one another.

Days of Spiritual Formation

for All In the Southeast Deanery.

This is an invitation for growth in our discipleship with Jesus and continue his mission of ministry and service to others. Jesus serves and nourishes us through the Eucharist and therefore we are to imitate Him and walk in his footsteps serving and being a source of nourishment through our ministries to the community.
