The Secretaries meet every two months to exchange ideas and with a speaker for their continuing education. At each meeting it will be decided which topic would be of the most helpful to the secretaries at this time. Meetings on Fourth Wed. of the month begin at 10 am & end with lunch at Noon. Mission Trail Walk for Vocations.
The San Jose Fraternity of Secular Franciscans with the Parish of Mission San Jose Church is co‑hosting our "Eighth Annual Mission Trail Walk for Vocations " to be held Sat., Oct. 8, 2005.
The event will begin and end in the San Jose Mission Church parking lot located at the comer of San Jose Drive and E. Pyron Street. Registration will be from 7:00 a.m. to 7:50 a.m. Walk starts at 8:00a.m. Registration fee is $10.00. The trail is six (6) miles or less (if one does not wish to go that far). Prizes will be awarded. Door prizes will be available for all registered participants.
This event is a non‑profit fundraiser sponsored by the Secular Franciscan Order and the Parish of Mission San Jose Church. All proceeds will go to benefit CASA JUAN DIEGO, a local formation program preparing young men for the brotherhood (priests and brothers) of the Franciscan Order.
