Advent Spiritual Formation
for Eucharistic Ministers
This is an invitation for growth in our discipleship
with Jesus and continue his
mission of ministry and service to others. Jesus serves and nourishes us
through the Eucharist and therefore we are to imitate Him and walk in his
footsteps serving and being a source of nourishment through our ministry as
Eucharistic Ministers to the community.
The call to be a Eucharistic Minister is an urging
from the Holy Spirit to plunge into new dimensions of relationship with Jesus
and with the Christian community. Rev. Fr. Jean Marie Mvumbi,
CICM, and Rev. Fr. Maury Smith, OFM will present the first two Sessions –
The Bread of Life and Bread of Covenant. The Eucharist
is the source and summit of the church. In the Eucharist, God feeds us with his
word that is a Word of life. Through the Eucharistic elements, Jesus
inaugurated a new covenant with the new Israel of God; people of every race and
tongue. The Eucharist nourishes our spiritual life.

BECOMING SACRAMENT
Convalidation Class
The preparation is for civilly married couples who
seek marriage in the church. It is also appropriate for adults who have
been cohabiting for a significant length of time. Living the sacramental
vocation of marriage is a lifelong process of human development and Christian
formation. The benefits of convalidation give
couples peace of heart, unity with the Church, reception of the Sacrament of
Marriage and God's special grace upon the marriage. Experience a rare and
wonderful opportunity to enrich and renew your commitment with each other and
to your family.
