The Secretaries meet every two months to exchange ideas and with a speaker for their continuing education. At each meeting it will be decided which topic would be of the most helpful to the secretaries at this time.

 

Meetings on Fourth Wed. of the month  begin at 10 am & end with lunch at Noon. The meeting place is rotated throughout the deanery.

Spanish RCIA at St. Margaret Mary OPEN for the SED

 

We are a RCIA team of four including Lucia Reyes and Deacon Jose Almanza

 

1. Letter from their pastor giving permission to attend is required.

2. At least one person from the parish who will journey with them as part of the hospitality team,

especially if 5 or more from one parish.

3. That parishes will pay for materials and refreshments but we do not charge any fee for RCIA process.

4. I hope also the hospitality team will be able to participate in the RCIA study days from the

office of worship

5.. Classes are s Sundays from 11:45am to 1:30pm in the activity center.

New Unitas Marriage Ministry Couples

 

Pastors: how about encouraging an “ACTS couple” to accept this as their ministry.

Training starts January 27, 2005.

The qualities the couple need:

 

They do not have to be saints or be perfect. The main qualities are faith and being a practicing Catholics and having a relatively successful marriage and are willing to share from their hearts. They may be married five years or more. And it is best if they are not involved in too many other things. Send names to Fr. Maury

This is an invitation for growth in our discipleship with Jesus and continue his mission of ministry and service to others. Jesus serves and nourishes us through the Eucharist and therefore we are to imitate Him and walk in his footsteps serving and being a source of nourishment through our ministries to the community.
