It�s normally at this point that we answer the question �What has ex-madness singer, Suggs, been doing this week?� Unfortunately Suggs can�t be with us this week as he�s touring the country, promoting his new book �Full Circle With Suggs�, in which he follows Michael Palin around the world quoting old Monty Python sketches to him. Instead this week, we have Radio One�s Tim Westwood. Tim, how have you been doing?

I am, no doubt, I�m as black as the night.

Yes. Yes I am . Sorry for deceiving you, Mark.
What have you been up to this week, Tim?
This week, Mark, I have been keeping it real with George Brown, no doubt.
As in the chancellor, George Brown?
Yeah, for real, the Treasury crew have been mixing it up EMU style, and I�ve been advising on policy.
You laid out Government policy on European Monetary Union?
Yeah. Know what I�m sayin', ruled out for the life of this parliament, but to consider joining when conditions are right, no doubt.
Do you have underlying reasons for this decision.
Big up yeah, EMU is a risky venture at this time with to many unknown factors, for real, but also has many benefits, which are likely to outweigh the negatives, know what I�m sayin�, like elimination of transaction costs, free movement of capital and exploitation of comparative advantage.
Seems like the government has a good advisor in you Tim. If you could only give up rap music, perhaps humanity could be saved.
Rap is my life, but whenever economic crisis looms I will be there, no doubt. Keep it real �97 style, peace, love and respect.
