*Zombie Nation
The old school computer game revival begins. The big
synth riff on Zombie Nation's Kernkraft 400 single
began life as a 1984 game for the Commodore C64. Mr
Zombie, aka "Splank", has had to pay an undisclosed
amount to David Whittaker, the programmer who wrote
the
original.

*Mark's Music Tip
Dido/ No Angel
I got this album on import when I heard the sample
from Stan (Eminem's class track and next single from
his latest album). It comes from 'Thank You'. The rest
of the album is also fantastic. The truth of the
matter is this: No Angel can be played when friends
come round for beers, when you're alone, or when
you're with a loved one. No matter who hears it they
will all ask "Who's this? Can I have a copy?"

Amazon contributor. 'Nuff said.

>> On The Net <<

*My Boot
I'm not really one for reading, but this site changed
all that. This guy is publishing his novella "She
Hates My Futon" in installments. It is quite simply
the finest piece of writing that I've read in a long
time, and once you start, you won't be able to stop.

*FastTranslation
Ex-Exeter university student Will Jelbert's online
translation service website is now up and running like
an Olympic sprinter. It looks dead flashy.

*The Onion
I put this here. But you should have discovered it
already. The onion is a consistently hilarious
American satirical magazine.

Classic Headline: "Death Star to onen day care centre"

*Jib Jab
One of the funniest and most inventive sites on the
web, that actually uses the internet as a medium in
itself, and not just a second fiddle to TV or Print.
Heavy on use of Flash, but very entertaining. My
favourite bit is the rapping ex-presidents.

*Mark Seddon. Com
You may know and tolerate my own website,
http://www.MarkSeddon.com
But check out my work in progress- Budget Nudists, a
pop culture satire-ish site. Any relevant
contributions to this site would be welcome.

Ottery
If you've ever been or have heard of the flaming tar
barrel running in Ottery St Mary, then you might want
to visit this nicely put together site:

>> Politics <<

I was watching Bush and Gore on TV most of last night.
And then I turned over from channel 5... ahhh!
"It's important for us to explain to our nation that
life is important.  It's not only life of babies, but
it's life of children living in, you know, the dark
dungeons of the Internet."
- GEORGE W. BUSH, going for that elusive teen
e-Morlock vote
For all of those great Bushisms, check out:

He looks to be the most powerful man in the world.
Good gravy, what are we in for!

Comments and contributions are welcome.
