Securalux louvre shutters are made of aluminium alloy and are mounted on the outside of the opening, flush with the outside skeen of the wall. Opening externally the shutters are designed to sit on either side of the opening, but can also be fitted and made to open internally. The louvres are sufficiently robust to prevent unauthorized entry and can be fully or partly opened depending on whether view or privacy is wanted. The louvre angle is adjustable by means of a simple, easy to operate handle actioned from the inside. This means they can be used to control the amount of light allowed into the room. Securalux shutters will add a Mediterranean look to a building and when fully closed provide a high standard of security and protection from the elements. If you do not wish to purchase the whole unit Securalux gives you the option to purchase them separately as two individual units. This enables people with already built homes to add the shutters at a later date.

Securalux products are custom made. The width of the windows/doors or shutters will determine how many panels are required. These panels are designed to bifold to reduce the amount of room the windows/doors or shutters take up when fully opened. Each individual panel can be locked into place by way of two latches located at the top and bottom of the panel.
