Character Generation is as follows; Humans start with 5 Hit Points. Player characters start with 2 Profession/Abilities, One of which should be Scroll user.. An additional Profession/Ability may be taken if a Flaw is taken.

Professions/Abilities:

Artificer: Character was taught how to make Scrolls and other magical artifacts. If taken twice the Character is A Master Artificer and can roll two dice and take the highest as his attempt roll.

Crafter: Character knows how to perform crafts, such as cloth making, gem cutting, black smiting, pottery, etc. If taken twice the Character is A Master Crafter and can roll two dice and take the highest as his attempt roll.

Demihuman: Character is part spirit creature and has some of the powers and vulnerabilities of a spirit. Character has 10points of spirit attacks and powers and can be bound as a spirit. If taken twice the Character is a Halfling and has 20points of spirit attacks and powers.

Mage: Character was taught how to cast magic. He starts with one spell. If taken twice the Character is A Wizard and can roll two dice and take the highest as his attack roll.

Physicker: Character was taught to bandage and heal. See Healing. If take twice Character is a Doctor and can roll two dice and take the highest as his attempt roll.

Scholar: Character is very knowledgeable about things in general, having had or gotten an excellent education.  When attempting to read, remember or understand something, he may roll two dice and that the highest as his attempt roll. If taken twice the Character is A Sage and can roll Three dice and take the highest as his attempt roll.

Scout: Character knows how to survive in the wild and track creatures. When attempting any of that, he may roll two dice and that the highest as his attempt roll. If taken twice the Character is A Master Scout and can roll Three dice and take the highest as his attempt roll.

Scroll User: Character knows how to use Scrolls to Capture Spirits. See Scroll Use for details.. If taken a second time the character is a Scroll Master and can roll two dice and take the higher when attempting to capture.

Thief: Character is sneaky, nimble fingered and has a light touch. when attempting to steal things or sneak around, etc, the character can roll two dice and take the higher as his attempt roll. This would also apply to trying to detect thieves doing stuff to them. If taken twice the Character is a Master Thief and can roll three dice and take the highest as his attempt roll.

Tough: Character is very healthy and durable. He starts with 8 Hit Points and when resisting poison, etc. he can roll two dice and take the highest as his attempt roll. If taken twice, the Character is Unstoppable and starts with 12 Hit Points and when resisting poison, etc. he can roll three dice and take the highest as his attempt roll.

Trader: Character knows how to wheel and deal. When bargaining he can roll two dice and take the highest as his attempt roll. If taken twice the Character is a Merchant and can roll three dice and take the highest as his attempt roll.

Warrior: Character is trained in fighting and combat. When in personal combat the character can roll two dice and take the higher as his attack roll. If taken twice the Character is an Elite Warrior and can roll three dice and take the highest as his attack roll.
